Fishing Updates
August 16, 2009

We started out the week with the ending of a pretty good storm.  Monday was really uncomfortable, good sized waves with very windy conditions.  The catch on Monday was down as a result of the big storm.  We woke on Tuesday expecting another windy day, and it was the opposite of Monday.  Tuesday was perfect weather and the Silvers seemed to show up over night.  Monday the dinning hall was silent and on Tuesday it was very loud and lively, pretty amazing to see the difference in the two nights.

Halibut has slowed; the action on the homeshore is hard to pass up.  We had some good fish in the 60 and 70 lb class.  Also if anyone ever wants a fishing update from the lodge please call 907.723.6000 anytime, and we can give you up to date information.

A big thank you goes out to Roger B with At Your Leisure and his crew!  We saw some amazing things this week, should be an amazing show for the viewers back home.  Roger you are welcome back anytime!  Tune into Channel 4 August 30th at 9:00am to view the show.
