Fishing Updates
June 12, 2009

I keep looking up at the blue sky and wondering how long it will last.  The garden is looking a lot better than last year; it looks like we can start cutting lettuce next week.  The weather and the fishing were both near perfect this week.  Even with the strong tides we had calm water and great halibut fishing, the biggest halibut last week was 82 lbs.  We did not have many fishermen fishing for kings this week, hopefully next week we can get into some kings.  On Wednesday we saw a pod of orca come through Icy Strait.

One of our guests started a Doc Warner’s page on facebook.com, thanks Brian!  Emma is working on getting more info on this page, so keep an eye on that.  We are still having trouble with our internet connection, so we have not been able to get many videos up on youtube.com.  We hope to solve the internet connection this week.

I need to thank two of our friends/guests.  Jay & Tom live near the office in Utah; this winter they helped me fix all the reels.  They did a great job and the reels look great.  Thank you Tom & Jay!
