Fishing Updates

Spring is here!  We have had 8 days with no rain; the temps have been in the 60s.  Everything outside is covered with a light dusting of green pollen from the trees. 

As you can see in the photo of Excursion Inlet, the grass is really growing on the beach.  We have the boats ready, the dock is in, we have a place set for you at the table, all that is left is for the guests to start arriving, and that happens on Sunday night.

Some of the staff fished in the evenings for halibut, they have had some success.  Some things to be aware of as you make your luggage plans, Alaska Air Lines is charging now for the 2nd checked bag, I believe it is going to be $25.  Juneau is reporting rod hours per king at 51 hours.  That is a big improvement from last week.
